Kind words and grace-filled encouragement …

It’s what we offer parents and families who walk through our doors looking for help.

At the same time, encouraging words are what we love receiving back from individuals who found the help and hope they were searching for!

One woman, whom I’ll call “Keeley,” recently received a special grant through Pregnancy Solutions that supports moms and dads who can greatly benefit from necessities for their child(ren) … and she sent us a note saying:

I just wanted to take the time out to say thank you so much for all your help regarding the grant. It is tremendously appreciated and I can’t thank you enough.

I worked with Pregnancy Solutions when I was pregnant with my twins, and over the summer I donated all their baby items to the center — I knew they would be put to good use. 

I recently obtained custody of my baby sister from JFS, and you truly don’t know how much this grant helped out [since] I’m starting fresh. I truly admire what the center is doing for mothers and families. 

I hope you don’t mind — I referred a friend of mine in Cuyahoga County [to you] … I’m sure she would be very appreciative as well. Again, thank you for all your help. 

Keeley is just one local mother (among so many) doing her best for her family … and your compassionate support helps provide what she needs. God bless you for following in Jesus’ footsteps and planting seeds of hope to care for the vulnerable!

Thanks to your generosity, donations, and support, Pregnancy Solutions offers MANY resources to many families all over Greater Akron.

We provide:

1. Medical services to women needing ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and prenatal care.
2. Counseling and encouragement for women who have miscarried.
3. Community classes, where parents can earn points toward baby items and necessities. Topics include: Pregnancy and Birth, First Year, Parenting and Co-Parenting, CPR, Life Skills, and others!
4. Makenna’s Corner — a baby boutique for families to shop full of items like diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, feeding supplies, cribs, bouncers, walkers, and more.
5. Family Connect Nights — which offers the “village” every new family needs to get connected to other parents … and takes place the second Tuesday of each quarter and includes a free dinner, family games, and practical discussion time.
6. A “HIS Legacy” group for fathers.
7. Insightful articles and blog content on all kinds of subjects.
